Conduct
Community Guidelines.
The standards we hold ourselves to as authors, editors, and members of a serious journal.
- 01
Original writing only
We do not accept work generated wholly or substantially by another person or system. Submit your own thinking.
- 02
Proper citations required
Cite primary sources where possible. OSCOLA or Bluebook are both accepted.
- 03
No plagiarism
A single instance of plagiarism is grounds for permanent removal from the journal.
- 04
Respectful discussion
Engage with ideas, not people. Tone matters — academic disagreement is welcome; contempt is not.
- 05
Disagreement is encouraged
Polite, well-argued disagreement is the soul of serious inquiry.
- 06
Personal attacks are prohibited
Address arguments, never the person making them.
- 07
Educational purposes only
Nothing published here is legal advice. We are a scholarly, educational journal.
